These Heavyweight Flywheels have been designed by VSP to allow Supercharged and Street Driven Vipers to utilize the phenomenal Tilton Carbon and Metallic Clutches. Previously, only the lightweight flywheels were available for these clutches, preventing install on Supercharged cars, and hindering street driven cars from experiencing the aspects of these top of the line clutch systems. Due to the extremely low rotational mass of the Lightweight Flywheels, street cars experienced stalling and PCM response rate issues, as well as shortened clutch life from extreme slipping to get the car moving from stops. These Heavyweight Flywheels cure all of these issues and are a VSP Exclusive, ONLY available here!

These flywheels retain approximately 80% of the inertia of the OEM clutch assembly, while reducing the overall clutch and flywheel weight by about 40% from the OEM assembly. These flywheels are weighted similarly to an aluminum flywheel/OEM pressure plate combination and feel great for both street and track use.

Included with the flywheel is a specific Crankshaft Bolt Kit. Clutch Bolt Kit and/or replacement bearing is available separately, please contact us for the correct application.

NOTE: These flywheels will ONLY work with Tilton Clutch Systems, and are sold as an upgrade for those currently having a lightweight system.
