This is an alternate gear set for the Gen-4 Viper TR-6060 transmission, or an optional ratio for use in other model vehicles which use the TR6060 transmission. The primary focus for this particular gear set is the 2008-2010 Viper. The factory gear ratios leave a 5th gear that is too tall, and a 6th gear that is virtually unusable! We have been hearing this gripe for years, and are now doing something about it. The OEM Ratios are .75 for 5th, and .5 for 6th. The alternate ratio available here is .81 5th, and .63 6th. Effectively, this will feel like a "4.5" gear and a "5.5" gear relative to the OEM gearing.

Included is the 2 gear seats, which are completely drop in. Any competent transmission shop could do the installation- though as always, we recommend a Viper specific shop do the transmission R&R in and out of the car.
