Custom Forged Direct Replacement CP Pistons
These Custom Forged Pistons by CP are made to order, in what configuration YOU would like to use, from as mild to wild as you could ask for. CP has more to offer and higher quality than any other pistons we have used, and are being used in the majority of Big Power Viper builds these days.

The pistons will be designed for OEM like fitment, as a flat top with OEM compression heights so they can be attached to either our Eagle or Manley drop-in rod sets, or OEM Rods. Please note, that upon request we can alter the compression heights or dome profile to suite your particular build. The option list and explanations below will help us configure your pistons correctly.

-Specific high-efficiency ring set Featuring Gas Nitride Top Rings, Napier Second Rings, and Low-Tension Oil Rings.


Anti Detos: Anti Detonation Grooves help prevent pre-ignition on higher compression and forced induction cars.

Bore: Select Engine Bore Size

Coating Package: Ceramic Tops help to shield the piston from excessive temperatures, while the skirt coatings reduce friction and wear, while also quieting the engine down slightly.

Engine Block Year: Select Engine Generation.

Gas Ports: Help aid in preventing ring flutter and blow-by at high-RPM by directing combustion pressure behind the top ring. Especially beneficial for Normally Aspirated high-RPM builds.

Upgraded Pins [.927" & .990" Pins Only]: 9310 Alloy Pins are hardened, cryogenically treated, balanced and tested resulting in a much stronger and more reliable pin. The WPC coating is an oil-retention coating, helping the pins perform better under high stress. The DLC coating is virtually indestructible, increasing wrist pin life exponentially. DLC coated Pins will generally survive multiple engine rebuilds and even most engine failures- quite literally the last set of pins you have to buy.

Pin Diameters: If attaching to OEM rods, 92-02 uses .984", 03-06 uses .945". Eagle Rods only available as .984". Manley Rods available as .927", .945" and .990". Select Pin Diameter based on your restrictions. Otherwise, use .927 for Normally Aspirated, and .990 for Forced Induction.

Wrist Pin Wall: Use Light Wall for Normal or High-Revving applications, and Heavy Wall for High Compression, and Forced Induction.
