Thomas's engine experienced oil starvation and spun bearings #3 and #4 at a track event due to having the stock oil pan installed, destroying the 2 involved connecting rods and breaking one of them in half, punching it through the driver side of the engine block.

We are currently building a new engine from the ground up for Thomas, which will borrow its lower end from our VS-1500 platform, and implement the 2008 Oil System Upgrade to cure all oil system starvation issues. Special attention has also been paid to heat management in the heads and valvetrain to assure a long life at any power level the Blower is capable of producing. The result is a virtually bulletproof Paxton based platform from which to build upon.
